If you need depth and complexity with your heat, I might be your writer. God has taken me on one hell of a journey, from the country 'hood in Arkansas to the ivory halls in Los Angeles. It hasn't always been fun, and certainly not easy; but it has been full and blessed. Forged into every one of these stories is my path through the hills and valleys of success, heartache, humiliation, and rebirth. If you're in search of a kindred spirit after feeling like you've had to hide your "bigness", let's have brunch. 

Nothing brings me more joy than fusing reality with the Heaven we deserve. 

Most of these books are a series, which you can read as interconnected stand-alones. Pick up any book and enjoy a complete love story for that couple, but I write worlds so there's an overarching theme.

 

BLACK HAMPTONS - READING ORDER (They don't follow numerical order exactly.)

Brown Sugar This Christmas - Maddy and Jerrell square up in an enemies-to-lovers, literally heated Christmas showdown. This is the series opener. Light, funny, tongue-in-cheek, filled with banter and shenanigans. If you're only looking for holiday vibes and not to be too invested, this does that. But if you find yourself falling into the families of Sag Harbor, an entire saga is kicking off. 

Hot Chocolate This Winter - Sheldon and Chrissy, Part 1. Jerrell's divorced older brother, Sheldon, finds himself jonesing for Maddy's childhood friend, Chrissy, who is going through a turbulent separation of her own. This New Year's Eve, Chrissy and Sheldon find protection from the cold, and their mutual hatred for their common enemy, Kevin Middleton, deepens. 

Flinging All Spring - Dr. Adella English is thrown a curveball when her grandfather dies unexpectedly, and in a total twist, leaves everything to her. What she must do-- marry unacceptably uncouth Desmond McLain. As Adella and Desmond evolve, so too do her grandfather's secrets.

Overheated for Summer, Sheldon and Chrissy, Part 2 - I couldn't get enough of these two. Chrissy's divorce is almost final, and they're headed to Sag Harbor for summer, when Sheldon's chickens come home to roost. Will they scream the end of Chris and Shel?

Explore You - Finally, you meet Kevin Middleton the man, not the villain. This is the beginning of the Middletons, the Black Hamptons' oldest and wealthiest family. His book kicks off the Explore Men of the Hamptons spin-off series. Kevin's unknown past also lays the foundation for his mother, Roberta's, story, and that of his aunt, A'Lelia, in the Metamorphosis series.

Rouse Family Christmas - Many readers have read this without knowing there were other books and they still enjoyed it. This is Book 5 and concludes the Sag Harbor storyline. I wrote this after Explore You. So the events in this story reference what happens in Explore You. Good Christmas drama in here.

Christmas Down Under - This is a short-read. I don't sell it. Only available for free at this link. This is a bridge between Sag Harbor and Explore Men of the Hamptons when Keenan McLain, finds Eugenia Rouse, Sheldon's ex-wife, eating alone and hurting the night Sheldon marries Chrissy. If I ever wrote a sex-only story, Keenan and Eugenia come closest. This is the prelude to their full book, See Through You.

One Tasty Night - This is another short-read that thickens the plot between Sag Harbor and Explore Men of the Hamptons. Chaitra McLain, Desmond and Keenan's older sister and Adella's nemesis, is getting a taste of the Hamptons world. After one night with Adella's older brother Solomon in his hot new chocolate-themed restaurant, Chaitra's not ready to leave. This is the prelude to their full book, Taste You.

Taste You - Nasty sibling rivalries, buried family wounds and trauma, and old resentments, all come to a head in this book. Along with sweetness, decadence, and redemption. Chaitra and Solomon, the oldest siblings, finally find their groove.

Drink You- Ahh, back to the Middletons. This is definitely one of my freakier ones. Lion is Kevin's older brother, and he detests how Kevin's spoiled ass seems to have everything and appreciates nothing. But Kamilah Rouse has an ability to rein Lion in, and that needs to be studied. This one was fun. I was so drawn to his mother, Roberta Middleton's secret, that I'm giving her her own story in the Metamorphosis series with Circa 1979.  

See Through You - Keenan had one night with Eugenia and found out what a fully grown woman looks like who is totally self-aware, and is detached from BS. He can't shake it off, and he won't let her shake him off.

Find You - The modern-day Hamptons world ends with Roland, the oldest of the Rouse clan, losing the woman he prayed would be his forever. Alone now with three children, he can't seem to put himself back together again. Is Chrissy's cousin, Neera, the angel and the balm that everyone says?
